John C. Shevlin

John Shevlin specializes in estate planning and administration while devoting additional expertise to the areas of probate, litigation, real estate and general business law.

Mr. Shevlin joined the firm in 1971 after being admitted to the California Bar and serving as an attorney for the Fourth District Court of Appeal, Division Two, seated in San Bernardino. He is an honors graduate with a degree in History from Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire, Mr. Shevlin was awarded his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Stanford University School of Law.

Mr. Shevlin is a member of the California State Bar Association, the Desert Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association and the American Bar Association. He has also served as a Judge Pro Tempore of the Riverside County Municipal Court.

Active in a number of community affairs, Mr. Shevlin is a former Director and President of the Palm Springs Public Library, a Director and former President of Friends of the Palm Springs Library, a Director of the Desert Hospital Foundation, the President and a Director of the Palm Springs Community Concert Association and a Member of the Palm Springs Rotary Club.
