Jon A. Shoenberger

Mr. Shoenberger has been a member of the firm since 1974 and specializes in civil litigation. Following his admission to the California State Bar, he joined the California Attorney General's Office, Criminal Division, prior to entering into private practice in Los Angeles. He has extensive experience in a wide range of litigation matters, including, but not limited to: construction disputes, partnership and corporate dissolutions, employment disputes, general business, and real property matters. Mr. Shoenberger has been a Certified Family Law Specialist since 1981 and has devoted more than 25 years of his practice to this area. His experience also includes court and jury trials as well as civil appeals throughout Southern California State and Federal Courts.

Mr. Shoenberger is a member of the American and Desert Bar Associations and the California Trial Lawyers Association. He has served as past President and Trustee of the Desert Bar Association and as Judge Pro Tempore in the Riverside County Municipal and Superior Courts. He has officiated as a Settlement Conference Referee and Superior Court Arbitration panel member for many years.

He is active in municipal government and is a former Chairperson and current Commissioner of the Palm Springs Planning Commission, and the Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Commissions. Mr. Shoenberger is a longstanding member of the Palm Springs Rotary Club. He is an avid golfer and has represented a number of the area's private golf clubs in a variety of legal matters.
