Ulrich R. McNulty joined Schlecht, Shevlin & Shoenberger, A Law Corporation, in 2004 and became a shareholder in 2008. Previously, Mr. McNulty practiced law as a Deputy District Attorney in Riverside County for 18 years. Given his extensive trial experience, he focuses on civil litigation in the areas of real property, labor and employment, business and corporate disputes, and civil rights violations under 42 USC section 1983.
Mr. McNulty received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1983 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1986. He is admitted to practice law in all state courts in California as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California.
Mr. McNulty is a member of the Desert Bar Association, the Riverside County Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He belongs to the Litigation and Labor & Employment Sections of the State Bar of California. From 1986 to 2004, as a member of the California District Attorneys Association, Mr. McNulty served on numerous committees, including the Trial Advocacy Committee, DNA Committee, Forensic Science Committee, and Three Strikes Ad Hoc Committee.
Mr. McNulty serves as a Regent on the Xavier College Preparatory High School Board and Vice-President of the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce. He formerly served as a Director on the Xavier College Preparatory High School Board, the San Bernardino Diocese Board of Education and Welfare, and St. Theresa's School Board. Mr. McNulty was also a Trustee for the O'Donnell Golf Club and the Commissioner for Region 80 of the American Youth Soccer Organization.
